I got this one in Oregon at a nursery by the Hoyt Aboritium.

I think this is the second spring I've had it.

So I'm guessing I got in late '08 or early '09.

We got a little hail storm a couple days ago.

Knocked a neighbors tree down...

We had minor damage...

Potted Jade - Spring 2010

To get the full moon to where I wanted, I had to move another japanes maple out back.

When I did that, I had an extra pot and decided to put a jade into it.

I'm expecting this thing to take off now that is has some room to grow.

It will be interesting to see how it does.

Got these from Lowe's for $35 per.

They are putting on about 4 inches of growth so far this spring.

I'm looking forward to them growing together and providing nice backdrop to the pool.

They look nice behind the pool...

I practiced pruning a few branches last winter.

They came out fine...

We will keep these trees at about 8 feet tall....
